Laidlaw Group Launches eCommerce Website For Ana Donohue Interiors
During the Pandemic, many of our clients chose to move forward. They recognized the time was right to embrace the digital landscape with eCommerce applications. Interior designer Ana Donohue opened her bricks and mortar shop during the 2019 Holiday Season.
When the world changed around us, Ana, the brave lady she is, decided to add an online store with full eCommerce functionality to the interior design firm website we designed for her. We worked closely with her team to add the eCommerce component. The “Shop” offers an opportunity to see new merchandise and shop by category for home accessories, luxurious bath and body products, handmade jewelry, vintage furniture, lighting, and fashion accessories.
We worked closely with Ana’s team to write engaging descriptions, optimize photos and set up the payment gateway. Interior pages provide photos and overviews of the products, prices, dimensions, color and finish options, shipping information, and easy access to the shopping cart. A “wish list” section is available to save products for future purchases. The pages also have social media share buttons that encourage end-users to share their finds with friends, coworkers, and family members.
We have 10+ years of experience building eCommerce websites for clients in the retail space. We enjoy the process; it’s fun, especially when the products are as unique as Ana’s selections.
Ana sources the unexpected (surprise, surprise), and she’s always looking for items that capture the imagination and the essence of style. The site showcases six Collections. “Some items are fun, some vintage, some fancy, and some luxuriously scented with a delightful combination of roses, magnolia, Sampaguita, citrus, and clove (romantic to the nines),” says Ana. We couldn’t agree more.
The collections range from Lighting, Housewares, Fashion & Jewelry, to Furniture, Home Accessories, Wall Decor, and Bath & Body.
“I warmly invite everyone to sit back, relax, jump online, and experience online shopping, Ana Donohue Interiors style,” says Ana. “It’s an invitation you should accept,” says Cindy Laidlaw. We think you’ll love it.
